The focus of the collection is views of architecture and architectural detail in Spanish cities. Images of Roman, Moorish, medieval, and Renaissance monuments include town walls and gates, fortresses and castles, cathedrals, churches, and mosques. The Alhambra is particularly well represented (40 images), as is the Alcázar in Seville (16 images).
